Set within a beautiful country house in Northamptonshire, this project involved the complete refurbishment of Charterhouse Clinic, transforming the property into a high end residential rehabilitation setting that felt calm, welcoming and far removed from a traditional clinical environment. The brief covered the entire property, including 14 bedrooms and en suites, therapy rooms, entrance halls, communal living and dining spaces, a gym and indoor swimming pool. Our approach was to create interiors that supported rest, recovery and wellbeing, while retaining the warmth and character of the country house, balancing the practical needs of a specialist treatment facility with the comfort, privacy and considered finish of a luxury retreat.
